The following work is the result of years of creation, editing, and reflection. It tells a cyclical story of love—beginning in a station, journeying through emotional highs, conflict, and war, before returning once more. Inspired by my photographs of the New York train station ceiling and the tomb of Hafez, the piece weaves together elements of poetry, architecture, painting, and historical war documents.
